The Royal Wedding

What a wonderful, fabulous occasion. I loved the whole day, nobody does pomp and ceremony like the British, loved it, loved it, loved it and felt very proud to be British. I am not ashamed to admit that it brought a tear to my eye!

The All Important Wedding Dress

I thought Kate looked absolutely beautiful but I was slightly disappointed that she didn’t choose something a little more modern. I did expect her to wear lace but thought she might have worn all lace, maybe a fishtail design? Still she looked stunning which is the important thing. I also loved the dress she changed in to for the evening reception. Thought it was perfect, she definitely got that one just right.

The Bridesmaids

They all looked lovely, how cute were the little ones? I thought it was very unusual to have a bride in ivory and a bridesmaid in white but I thought Pippa looked absolutely gorgeous. They are certainly a very good looking family. She attracted a lot of male attention didn’t she? Wonder if the rumours about her and Prince Harry were true? Wouldn’t another Royal wedding be lovely?

Have a look at my shop window if you get a chance. I have very similar dresses to both of Kates and one like Pippa’s on display. Looks very good even if I do say so myself and it is attracting a lot of local attention.

Overall I thought it was a wonderful day for Britain and for the bridal industry as a whole. My local vicar took a booking for later in the year on Friday evening.

Somebody had obviously been inspired by the service. Captivating Brides was so busy on Saturday that I didn’t even get a chance to have a cuppa!

Every one of the Brides in my shop wanted a veil like Kate’s. My veil supplier is going to be very busy this year. Not complaining though I had lovely brides and bridesmaids (even grooms) in all day who were all a pleasure to deal with. I love my job!
